Add a Dynamic document
Upload a .docx to a template and choose Dynamic. Open it in the Dynamic editor to write and format the content.

Keep a Word document as editable content, then let merge fields and the sender's answers set the wording each time it goes out. Dynamic documents are Experimental: available to use now on the Enterprise plan, and still being shaped.
Word content, kept editable. Upload a .docx and it stays as Word content instead of being flattened to a PDF. Dynamic documents are Experimental and need the Enterprise plan.
Edit on real pages. The Dynamic editor shows pages at real size, laid out as they will print. Text reflows across pages as you type, with formatting, lists, images and margins in the toolbar.
Merge fields from your own text. Select text and make it a merge field. Each one is filled in by the sender, by a recipient's name or email, or by a fixed value.
Wording that follows an answer. Mark content to show only sometimes, or offer alternative wording. A rule asks the sender a question, and each answer shows, hides or swaps that content.
Senders are asked only what applies. An answer can ask for a merge field or fill it in with a fixed value. Merge fields inside hidden content drop off the send form.
Preview before you send. Pick an answer for each question and the page redraws for those answers, with a list of the merge fields the sender will be asked for.

Turn text into merge fields, mark the content that varies, and write the questions that decide it. Then place signing fields for each role.

Send from the template, fill the merge fields and answer the questions once. The document is produced from those answers.

No. Dynamic documents need the Enterprise plan. See pricing for details.
The feature is available to use now and is still being shaped, so how it works may change as we improve it. Anything you have already sent or had signed is not affected by those changes.
A standard document is a fixed page that you place fields on. A dynamic document is a .docx kept as Word content, so you can edit the text itself and have it change with merge fields and the sender's answers.
The sender. When they send from the template, they fill the merge fields and answer the questions once. Each question has a default answer that is preselected and used if the question is skipped.
No. The document is produced once from the sender's answers, and everyone on that package receives the same document.
